I went to see Mr Turton after contacting his lovely secretary Lisa, to discuss a breast augmentation following having children and breastfeeding. I was very nervous about the consultation and examination, as I had not allowed anybody to see my chest in the previous 9 years due to massive self confidence issues. Mr Turton immediately made me feel at ease, and though I was still nervous about showing my chest, his manner and the general feel you get for a person when you first meet them, made me feel so much better and much more relaxed. He was very through and patient and I left feeling confident, not only in my decisions but in my surgeon even if giving up smoking was a stipulation of having my surgery I'm glad I did it and havent restarted. From the first consultation (I had two before my op) to the operation day itself and recovery Mr Turton has been kind, reassuring and not once have I worried under his care. He has changed my life!!! I am so much healthier for stopping smoking and I never would of quit if he hadn't insisted. I'm happier than I have been in so many years. Mr Turton gave me back my confidence and made me feel like a woman again with THE most wonderful natural looking breasts ever!!!! Thank you Mr Turton x

I honestly can't thank Mr Turton and his team enough for everything they have done for me, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. From the moment I walked through the door he made me feel so at ease, a friendly smiley face and a generally nice person, really easy to talk to and you can ask him anything and he will answer honestly. Having been only 25 and having preventative breast surgery it was terrifiying but straight away when I knew he was doing the operation I knew I was in safe hands. He's amazing at what he does I would recommend him to anyone. The whole hospital experience was positive the staff and nurses were very kind and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. I had no problems after the surgery and now I'm healing well and practically back to normal, I'm so pleased with the results couldn't of asked for a better more professional surgeon. From the bottom of my heart thank you.

From the 1st time I met Mr Turton in 2007 he put me at ease, I have never listen to anybody else he did a fantastic reconstruction operation and you cannot tell. I have seen him on most of my visits. A lovely person and I think the best in his line of work. So I am sure if you have an appointment with Mr Turton you will know straight away how I feel.

It is hard to adequately express the difference Mr Turton has personally made in the breast cancer journey I have recently undergone. Due to circumstances, I wished to change from my initial breast consultant and I had been strongly recommended to see him through an acquaintance but given initial experiences my expectation of being treated as an individual was low. However, from our first meeting he gauged perfectly how I was feeling and what I needed to face the situation and was sensitive but clear on the reality of my circumstances At all times, he has willingly answered all my wide ranging and detailed questions and throughout the whole experience his approach and empathetic attitude towards me has felt incredibly personal. He was totally open about the surgery phase but was also reassuring how this would be done and his willingness to take a "no surprises" approach for me was most welcome. Even though the day after I required unplanned surgery to resolve a haematoma he and his teams fast and reassuring response was fantastic leaving me unworried by the additional experience. When pathology indicated a third surgery was required he carefully personally explained why and what was required and any future implications again I experienced the same exemplary level of care. All the follow up meetings have followed the same fantastic level of care and attention. Mr Turton was also surrounded by a team who all in my experience put something "extra" into the service they provided, that went way beyond simply doing their job and treated me as an individual at all times and made a huge difference to the journey I was obliged to undertake. I can only believe that this is a reflection of his attitude towards his work and patients. In summary it is absolutely impossible for me to suggest any improvement that Mr Turton could take in his care of my case and I am just so thankful that I found him.
